M4s PCL Dynamic knee brace

The latest product in medi‘s brace family holds the tibia in the
desired position by actively exerting a force via the PCL protection
pad. The brace is very comfortable to wear with its light, fl at
construction and the comfortable non-slip pads. This leads to high
patient compliance which makes treatment safer and increases
the patient‘s mobility.

Mode of action:

Individually adjustable protection pad actively exerts a force directed anteriorly to hold the tibia in the desired position. This protects and relieves tension on the posterior cruciate ligament. Reliable stabilization of the knee joint by the 4-point rigid fram construction - flexion and extension limitation protect agains undesirable joint movements. Extension limitation at 0, 10, 20, 30, and 45 degrees. Flexion limitation at 0, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 degrees. Immobilization at 0, 10, 20, 30 and 45 degrees.

PCL Protective Pad presses actively on the tibia and holds it in the desired position. Integrated Tensioning Dial enables the protection pad to be adjusted exactly to suit the individual patient. The Physioglide Hinge mimics the rolling/gliding movement of the knee and ensures a secure fit. Pre-shaped Tibia pad has a winged shape that mushion moulds itself perfectly to the anatomical shape of the shin bone.

Recommended Conditions:

Conservative treatment after injury of the posterior cruciate ligament. Post-operative treatment after reconstruction of the posterior cruiciate ligament.

Measurement:

Circumference of thigh 6" (15cm) above the center of the patella (measured at the medial side of the thigh)
